Back by popular demand! A lovely evening of book recommendations from the Dewey Divas, knowledgeable and entertaining publishing industry representatives.

New this year – Melanie J. Fishbane, will be on hand to explore her path to Finding My Fictional Maud. Her essay, "My Pen Shall Heal, Not Hurt": Writing as Therapy in L.M. Montgomery's Rilla of Ingleside and The Blythes Are Quoted," is included in L.M. Montgomery's Rainbow Valleys: The Ontario Years 1911-1942. Her YA novel, Maud: A Novel Inspired by the Life of L.M. Montgomery was published in 2017 and won Hamilton Public Library’s Next Top Novel and was shortlisted for the Vine Awards for the best in Canadian Jewish Literature.  With over seventeen years’ experience in children's publishing, she also lectures internationally on children's literature. 

There will be wonderful refreshments, more great prizes and the announcement of our One Book, One Halton Hills 2019 title. Come on your own, bring a friend or bring your book club. What a great way to close out the year of your book club before summer!
