Borrowing items | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
We do have a limit of 3 items per topic on our non-fiction titles in efforts to share resources. The loan period for most items is 3 weeks, however, we ask that you check your account online for specific due dates.
Renewing materials | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
If you would like to enjoy your book or video game a little while longer…no problem! Materials without holds can easily be renewed online, over the phone or in person.
Fines and fees | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
All fines can be paid in-person at the Circulation Desk. If your fine is over $5.00, you have the option to pay online. The balance owing on your library account must be less than $10 in order for you to continue borrowing library materials and using some library services such as 3D printing. |

Lending periods and overdue/lost items
Typical lending periods are listed below. Please check your checkout receipt or your online library account for exact dates. Items can be renewed only if there are no holds on the title. Titles with waiting lists cannot be renewed. Overdue notices are sent when items are 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months and 3 months overdue. At 6 months, items are considered lost and a replacement charge and processing fee is added to your library account. A bill for these charges will be sent by email or mail. Payment is due within 30 days of the billing date. The balance owing on your library account must be less than $10 in order for you to continue borrowing library materials and using some library services such as 3D printing. Bills can be paid in person at both Library Branches. Bills over $5 can be paid online through your library account. Accounts with balances over $100 may be placed with the Library's Collection Agency. Payment plans are available.
