Seniors’ Month at Your Library

Posted On Thursday June 09, 2022

In June we recognize older adults, honouring all the contributions they’ve made and continue to make in our communities. Halton Hills Public Library encourages seniors to stay safe, active, and connected by getting involved, spending time with those closest to them, exercising, reading, and learning something new at the Library.

Check out these great resources for Seniors!

Seniors Safety
Drop by the Acton or Georgetown Branch to pick up a #SeniorsSafety Resource Kit. Each kit is packed with information from the Halton Age Friendly Network, Halton Regional Police Services, Halton Community Services Directory, Hillsview Active Living Centre, and Halton Hills Public Library.

Be sure to view our Safety for Seniors Lecture with Halton Regional Police Services on HHPL’s YouTube channel.
