CaddyStacks5: The Mini-Golf Experience at your Local Library

Posted On Thursday March 12, 2020

If you’re looking for an exciting reprieve from the winter, enjoy being active and getting out of the house, then HHPL has just the thing for you. It’s time again to enjoy the thrill and excitement of mini-golf throughout the Georgetown Branch at the Halton Hills Public Library! Bring your family, friends, relatives and anyone else for a day of fun.

This exciting, fun-filled family event allows people the opportunity to play miniature golf between the stacks of the Georgetown Branch Library and Cultural Centre. A full nine-hole round of mini golf is $5 per person with proceeds benefiting the Halton Hills Public Library, including the proposed Library/Cultural Centre Plaza and the One Book, One Halton Hills event.

CaddyStacks5 will also feature an online auction with a wide selection of gift cards to choose from. These gift cards are for valuable products, services and experiences. Donation and sponsorship opportunities are still available for the 2020 season. Please contact the Georgetown Branch if you or your business would like to donate a gift card to the silent auction and/or sponsor a hole.

“We are so pleased to present CaddyStacks to the Town of Halton Hills, celebrating its fifth year in a row!” exclaims, Mark Rowe, Chair of the Friends of the Halton Hills Public Library. “Every year it’s a highly entertaining event that brings many people out to the Library for a day of fun, challenge and camaraderie. Plus, with the continuation of the online auction, we are pleased to have this added feature of exciting gifts and experiences for the community.”

The Friends of the Library would like to thank RBC Royal Bank, Georgetown, for their continued support as major event sponsor.

CaddyStacks5 can be played at the Georgetown Branch on Saturday, March 21 from 10am – 4pm. For information about this event, please visit the HHPL website or contact the Georgetown Branch at: 905-873-2681, ext. 2502.
