Igniting Your Kids’ Creativity!

Posted On Wednesday November 06, 2019

Our kids are unique. Each child learns differently, depending on their individual strengths. As parents we want to encourage their creativity and help develop their unique interests in a way that makes sense and helps them to learn, develop and grow. With this in mind, Halton Hills Public Library has partnered with Kids Great Minds to do exactly that.

Kids Great Minds or KGM, is a dynamic and growing organization passionate and dedicated to teaching kids digital literacy. Their goal is to ignite a child’s individual creativity, intellect and interest by providing a variety of computer based courses. Kids are introduced to new concepts and develop core competencies in many of today’s cutting edge technologies such as Computer Animation, Programming, 3D Modeling and Printing, Robotics, Virtual Reality Character and Game Design, Web and Blog design, Video Game Development and so much more. KGM customizes the learning experience to tap into a child’s passion for learning and to give him/her the tools to excel in a safe, relaxed and guided environment. This leads to higher self-esteem, sense of accomplishment and helps to develop problem solving skills. Kids Great Minds specializes in fun computer training for kids of all ages.

Join us on Saturday, November 23 from 12:30 – 4:30 p.m. as HHPL hosts an Intermediate Game Design Workshop with a Kids Great Minds instructor to develop and grow your kids’ inner creativity and interests. Kids will be guided step-by-step in a collaborative, computerized environment by solving problems, designing projects, and communicating ideas using coding in a fun and collaborative way.
