HHPL Winter Reading Challenge 2020

Posted On Thursday January 16, 2020

Calling all readers and those who love a good challenge! If you love to read or are looking for motivation to pick up a good book, the Halton Hills Public Library Winter Reading Challenge is back!

This year’s challenge is an opportunity for adults and teens to celebrate the excitement and enjoyment of reading during the cold months and as a result you’ll earn ballots for challenges you complete. Use these ballots to enter into our grand prize draws (Teens and Adults); so don’t wait, stop by a branch and pick up your challenge card today to get started. You can even earn extra ballots when you finish an entire row on your card!

The challenge kicked off on January 4th but there is still plenty of time to join the fun, to cozy up with a great read and broaden your reading awareness by exploring new voices and genres.

The Winter Reading Challenge is a fun way to get reading, and expand your comfort zone by trying something different or new. Some of the challenges even include various experiences at the Library. The earlier you start, the more chances you’ll have to win! The Winter Reading Challenge runs until March 27 (the last day to earn your ballots). Good luck, and happy reading!
