Spend Your March Break with HHPL!

Posted On Wednesday March 04, 2020

March Break is just around the corner, and HHPL has a week of exciting activities and events happening at both branches. Explore our online calendar to find out more and spend your March Break with your local Library!

Our March Break events are for every one of every age. In addition to endless books, music, games, puzzles and activities inside our doors, we will be having a Stuffie Sleepover. Children can drop off their stuffed animals before 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 14 and watch HHPL’s Facebook and Twitter pages to see all the fun things the Stuffies get up to throughout the night! When children wake up on Sunday, March 15, they can stop by the Library and pick up their tired Stuffies.

There will also be Construction Zone activities on March 15 from 1-5pm, where families can use a Makedo Cardboard Construction set to build and create cool things together.

Or stop by on weekday mornings for other fun, themed and creative activities at the March Break Mornings. No registration is required but space and supplies are limited, so arrive early.

Join us for March Break Movies in the afternoons (2pm), where families can watch entertaining movies together, and we’ll even supply the popcorn!

Plus, back by popular demand is our Family Camp-in on Thursday, March 19 from 6-8 p.m. This is a great opportunity for families to have fun and be creative together by making a fort throughout the Stacks in the Library. Families can read, play in their tent, eat popcorn (supplied by HHPL), and have fun! No registration is required; just drop in.

Stop by HHPL and take part in these exciting programs and much more. March Break is happening in both branches, so don’t miss out on the fun. HHPL has your March Break covered!
