It’s Time To Get Your Culture On!

Posted On Friday August 16, 2019

Culture Days 2019 is just around the corner and you won’t want to miss this dynamic and energizing event. It’s a celebration of vibrant arts and diverse culture in the community of Halton Hills. This celebratory event takes place September 27, 28 and 29.

Halton Hills was chosen as a designated Culture Days @ The Library program. This special designation was offered to 10 libraries across the province and provides HHPL with a high profile dedicated page on the Culture Days website, including a full list of activities happening at both the Acton and Georgetown branches. HHPL joins the likes of Toronto, Burlington and Brampton who were also given the designation and will be celebrating the Culture Days event in their own communities.

For well over a century, the Halton Hills Public Library has provided spaces for people to relax, create, imagine, innovate and collaborate. With branches in both Acton and Georgetown, HHPL has become a main provider and presenter of arts and culture events in the community. For Culture Days, the Library will host FREE hands-on activities for all age groups in a range of artistic disciplines.

Enjoy events like:

  • Local Author Showcase
  • Bilingual Storytime
  • Community Storytelling
