Cosplay 101: Armour

Just in time for Toronto Comic-Con! Learn about the art of Cosplay and make your own pair of armour braces to add to an existing costume or as inspiration for a new outfit.
For ages 12 – 18 years old.

Peel Scale Modelers

What do Hogwarts, the Death Star and the Titanic all have in common? They were all Scale Models! Scale modelli
ng is the art of creating miniature replicas of larger subjects. It’s often used in movies or by engineers to prototype designs. The Peel Scale Modelers will introduce you to this craft, providing you with a modelling kit and guidance on how to construct a scale model of your own.
For ages 11 – 18 years old.
Georgetown Branch: Thursday, March 15th from 10:00am-12:00pm

                                 ELIZABETH FRY SOCIETY MARCH BREAK CAMP!

Come hang out with the Elizabeth Fry Society at the library this March Break! They will use themes and ideas from two of their popular programs: Building Resiliency in Girls and Empowering Young Women. Topics covered will include healthy relationships, self-esteem, body image, and much more. 
Georgetown Branch: Monday, March 12th – Friday, March 16th from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Fee: Free, plus snacks and lunch provided.

Learn a new skill in just 10 minutes! Local businesses and community groups will be on hand to share their expertise, teaching participants a variety of fun and useful trades. All ages are welcome!
