Creativity Centre FAQs

What is the HHPL Creativity Centre?

The Creativity Centre is a creative and collaborative environment where ideas come to life. You can come in and scan your old photographs and slides, convert old VHS tapes to DVDs, design a scrapbook, compile your family tree, develop marketing materials, create 3D models or build presentations.

Who can use the Creativity Centre?

The Creativity Centre computers are open to anyone who demonstrates a reasonable understanding of how to use the equipment.

What do I need?

You will need a USB key, external hard drive or cloud storage account for saving projects. We have a limited number of DVDs and USB keys for sale.

Will someone be able to help with projects?

Library staff are on hand to learn with you. Creativity Centre volunteers will be scheduled during busier library hours.

If you would like one-on-one assistance, we recommend you Book a Librarian.

We aren't experts on everything; however we are here to help and learn together.

Can I get a tour of the space?

Staff are on-hand to talk about the space and answer questions anytime.
